On 9 June 2021, Royal Dutch Kusters Engineering celebrated its 110th anniversary.
110 years of history
Starting as a blacksmith, the company evolved to a construction workshop, air heater manufacturer, waste recycling systems manufacturer, and, in 1979, developed the technology for secure unfit currency destruction. This year, we are officially 42 years active in the currency market.
A lot can happen in 110 years. We, therefore, made a compilation of the most extraordinary and business-changing events in our existence. You can find the video on our 110th-anniversary page together with interesting facts and figures:
Of course, we could have never accomplished such milestones without your support. Royal Dutch Kusters would, therefore, like to thank all our contacts, customers, suppliers, partners and employees - past and present - for their role in our ongoing story.
What does the future hold?
We aim to continue delighting and serving you with innovative technologies and systems in the next 110 years. Rightly so, we recently welcomed the Spectra BDS-1000 system to our product portfolio. We also introduced the new stand-alone Air Purifiers last year.
In addition, serious steps have been taken in the paper pulp industry and insect breeding with our Organic Liquefying Press and Rotoshifter in the past couple of years. In the coming years, we will further professionalize these developments and establish Kusters further in these markets.
And how exciting is it that we do not know what the future has in store? Who knows in which other businesses we might be active in the future. But whatever happens, we will always remain true to our innovation and engineering hearts.
