# Certification

##### A quality and environmental policy

To design, build and deliver high-quality solutions it is a necessity to work according to official standards, and integrate them into our internal processes. Our quality policy is aimed at the delivery of products and services, which meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.

 Royal Dutch Kusters also recognizes that its activities impact the environment both through its operations and through its influences and effects on the wider community. It acknowledges a responsibility for, and a commitment to, protection of the environment throughout all levels of the company.

##### **Our quality policy**

To achieve a reliable quality policy, we have implemented a quality management system. The following policy aspects form the basis of this system and meet the ISO 9001: 2015 requirements:

- Continual improvement
- Flexibility
- Demand chain orientation

##### **Our environmental policy**

To keep our promise to acknowledge responsibility for, and a commitment to, protection of the environment, we have implemented an environmental management system. The following policy aspects form the basis of this system and meet the ISO 14001:2015 requirements: 

- Compliance
- Standards
- EMS
- Continual improvement

The Environmental and Quality Management System is applicable to the hard and software engineering, production, testing, installation and servicing of systems and processes for the safe and secure disintegration of banknotes, coins and classified documents and other data mediums and systems for the sorting and recycling of valuable materials.
