The Organic Liquefying Press allows the user to separate organics or moisture from solid waste fractions in a smart and energy efficient way. The self-learning press automatically adapts its’ settings to optimise the pressure required for the material. Additionallly, output and energy consumption are reduced. When processing organics, biogas potential could increase by almost 30%. Simultaneously, the solid RDF fraction can be used for further recycling or as an alternative energy source.

To extract the liquid fraction the material is pressed through a sieve by means of hydraulic pressure. The two resulting fractions are the dry solid and liquid fraction with a high level of purity. The self-learning press automatically adjusts its settings for optimal output and energy usage. Simultaneously, the dried e.g. RDF fraction, can be further upcycled or used as alternative energy.

Separating Municipal Solid Waste

The OLP separates mixed organic waste fractions under extremely high pressure, resulting in the biodegradable fraction to liquefy. The biodegradable fractions are then separated together with the moisture when pressed trough a perforation screen.

Dewatering Paper Pulp Rejects

The OLP optimizes the drying of paper and plastic residue from paper pulp rejects. It does this by removing liquids from solid fraction for RDF production or other applications. Test results indicate moisture reduction of up to 50%.
