Proven two-stage destruction process

Our destruction systems utilize a proven two-stage process combining pre-cutting and granulation. By reducing material size in stages, the system ensures efficient processing, reliable performance, and complete destruction of banknote printing waste while supporting safe and cost-effective operations.

Process Steps

How banknote printing waste destruction works

1. Feed the printing waste

Introduce misprinted sheets, reams, cut strips or banknote packages into the CDS-P system. 

2. Pre-cut the material

The integrated guillotine cuts the printing waste into smaller pieces, preparing it for granulation. 

3. Granulate the waste

The granulator reduces the pre-cut material into fine particles to prevent reconstruction. 

4. Collect or compact the shreds

The resulting shreds are collected in a shred collection unit or processed by a briquetting system, depending on your configuration.
